Characteristics and combination of composite packaging materials
from the perspective of the packaging containers used in soft cans in the current market, it has realized the expansion of scope industry and integration. Generally speaking, it can be divided into three types: bag (commonly known as cooking bag), plate (commonly known as cooking container) and cylinder. These packaging materials are either single-layer plastic films or composite products of plastic films and aluminum foil. The outer film of the composite film packaging material used in soft cans is nylon and polyester; As the barrier layer, the films include polyvinylidene chloride, aluminum foil, ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer; The film used as the sealing layer includes polypropylene, special polyethylene, etc. According to relevant experts in the industry, various raw materials used in the composite film have the following characteristics:
polyester: polyester has excellent transparency, heat resistance and wear resistance. The film thickness is 12 microns and 25 microns. Printing is carried out on polyester, which can be used as cooking bags or dish container covers
nylon: as the base material of soft can packaging materials, nylon is indispensable, mainly including biaxial stretching and non stretching. Biaxially Stretched Nylon 6 film not only has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance, but also has good tear strength and pinhole resistance. It can be used together with other raw materials. In addition, in order to prevent shrinkage and improve strength, nylon 6-6 film is also used, but the price should be straightened. The main types of devices are: roller type (divided into horizontal type and vertical type); Pulley type (divided into single pulley and pulley block); The winch type is higher than nylon 6
polyvinylidene chloride, a polycarbonate material exhibited by Bayer materials technology: as a single-layer film, polyvinylidene chloride can also be used in soft cans. It can be used as a packaging material for ham and sausage. Its sealing, ligation, thermal shrinkage and gas barrier properties are excellent. PVDC can also be used as the coating of nylon, polyester and other film materials. In addition, it can also be used as a composite material for cooking bags and on high barrier films for high temperature and high pressure sterilization
high density polyethylene: special high density polyethylene for soft cans has been sold in Japan. Although this film has poor gas barrier, it can be used as a sealing layer because of its excellent tensile strength, elongation, tear strength and sealing adaptability. However, the heat resistance of HDPE is poor, and its maximum heat resistance temperature is 120 ℃. Polypropylene: polypropylene has good transparency and oil resistance, and its heat resistance is better than that of special polyethylene, so it can be used as the sealing layer of cooking bags and cooking containers. In soft can packaging materials, most of them use non stretched polypropylene film or sheet as its sealing layer
aluminum foil: aluminum foil is made by calendering electrolytic aluminum with purity of more than 90%. When used as packaging materials, aluminum foil is the only metal substrate in packaging composites. The thickness of aluminum foil used for cooking is 7-15 microns, while the thickness of aluminum foil used for cooking container is 50-130 microns. Aluminum foil is non-toxic and tasteless, with excellent shading, high moisture resistance, gas resistance and confidentiality, which can most effectively protect the packaged goods. It is the most suitable packaging material for fatty food. However, due to the danger of pinholes after bending aluminum foil, it is necessary to use plastic film as the outer layer to compound it
most of the packaging materials used for soft cans are made of plastic film and aluminum foil. However, due to the different types of packaged food, sterilization temperature and storage conditions, the combination of various raw materials must be carefully considered in use
